A Chinese Restaurant Exhibition in Brooklyn

At the Museum of Food and Drink in Williamsburg, a curtain of 7,250 Chinese takeout boxes marks the entrance of the exhibit “Chow: Making the Chinese American Restaurant.” Using items such as restaurant menus and a fortune cookie machine, the exhibition tells the stories of the iconic Chinese-American restaurants found across the country.
