Campaign Fights for Juvenile Rights

The “Raise the Age” campaign is fighting across the city to increase the age at which juveniles can be tried in adult court, reports The Uptowner. As it stands now, New York and North Carolina are the only two states that charge all juvenile offenders 16 and over as adults.
