As Brazil prepares for take center stage hosting the World Cup and the Olympics Game, Americans are going to be hearing a lot more about caipirinhas following a big push to expand the market for cachaça in the U.S. now that the spirit can be sold under its Portuguese name and is officially a “distinctive product of Brazil.”
