Neighborhoods Mobilize to Save Extended G Train

In many ways, the neighborhoods of Long Island City, Greenpoint, Williamsburg, Fort Greene, Carroll Gardens, Park Slope and Windsor Terrace could not be more different. But those neighborhoods — connected by the Metropolitan Transit Authority’s G train, which runs through them all — have mobilized to fight the planned closing of five temporary stations.
