We found plenty of food stories from the ethnic and community press this Wednesday: a postscript to the Park Slope Food Co-op’s Israel boycott battle; an award for NYC’s “Queen of Tamales”; a Jamaican jerk destination in upper Manhattan; and a chef apprenticeship gone sour in the Lower East Side.
