New media outlets for New York’s Indian and Arab communities

New York’s Arab and Indian communities have a new radio station and a new newspaper.

  • Hum Hindustani began weekly publication on August 31 of this year. It is the first and only Hindi-language newspaper in the United States, according to the Indian Consulate in New York.
  • The Arab-American newspaper Aramica turns ten years old next April and they already celebrated on September 16th by launching Radio Aramica, an Internet radio station that can be heard at radioaramica.com and can be streamed via telephone at 712-432-8008.
