A high school for ESL students

Emma Lazarus High School caters to students, 16 and older, who are not native English speakers and looking to pursue higher education. The student body includes 250 students from 18 countries, half of whom are of Chinese descent. While classes are taught in English, help is provided in the students’ native languages.
