Give us air time, Black pickets tell ABC

When a stroke incapacitated Gil Noble, host of the WABC-TV show “Like It Is,” the Black community in New York lost one of the few mainstream media news programs devoted to the city’s African-Americans. Activist organizations are demanding a say in how the show and its host will be replaced. Organized by CEMOTAP, the Committee To Eliminate Media Offensive To African People, about 100 demonstrators gathered at ABC headquarters in Manhattan to press their case.

Give Gil Noble his tribute. ABC… you are just wrong.

This is the number one show on TV, period. Give it the recognition it is due, for historical purposes for this American nation. It should be a syndicated nationwide, world wide.
