Women of Reggae Take Brooklyn Stage

On Saturday, April 25 a star-studded line-up of female reggae performers, headlined by Etana, came together on the stage at the Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts. They were invited by the Coalition to Preserve Reggae Music to help celebrate its 10th anniversary of working to preserve and promote the genre, which originated in Jamaica with such luminaries as Bob Marley and the Wailers.

Melissa Noel was at the concert and talked with CPR co-founder Sharon Gordon a few days later.
