Exhibit of Works by Greek Artists ‘On Paper’ Opens

“On Paper,” an exhibit of works by 20 Greek and Greek-American artists living in New York City, opened on June 1 at the Gallery d’Arte / ParisKoh Fine Arts on West 28th Street in Manhattan. The exhibit, which features artwork on paper, was presented in collaboration with the Timarete Hellenic Art Festival, and curated by Greek artist Antonia Papatzanaki.

In attendance at the opening, reports The National Herald, were Consul of Greece in New York Manos Koubarakis, other Greek officials, and representative of the Timarete Hellenic Festival, as well as a number of artists.

Papatzanaki spoke with The National Herald at the opening, noting the wonderful turnout and expressing the hope that the unique artwork on view would attract collectors as well.

Those in attendance noted the striking images and the extraordinary creativity of the artists working today. With such diverse and dynamic works by gifted artists, On Paper is an exhibition not to be missed.
