NetCost Market, which has stores across Brooklyn serving customers from Eastern Europe and former Soviet Republics, recently opened a location on Ocean Avenue in Sheepshead Bay. Bklyner’s Liena Zagare went to check out what’s being offered at the chain’s first 24-hour store.

She writes:

It warmed my Latvian heart to see the dairy aisle, offering excellent selections of domestic and imported butter, Kefir, sour cream, farmer’s cheese, … basically milk at every stage of processing known to man.

Then there’s the buckwheat in bulk, the bakery, fresh produce and hot food offerings. Go to Bklyner to see photos and find out more about the newest location for “Brooklyn’s largest Eastern European market.”
