‘Claremont Illuminated’ Brings Public Art to the S. Bronx

A public art project, “Claremont Illuminated,” will project images onto walls in the South Bronx neighborhood this summer, Next City reports.

Will CreateNYC Help Artists in Low-Income Areas?

Artists in low-income neighborhoods are hoping that the city’s first cultural plan, CreateNYC, will make a difference, but some believe artists’ empowerment requires a plan that “goes deeper,” reports City Limits.
