Dominican Families Hampered by Ban on Shipping Used Clothes

The Dominican Republic has re-instituted a law from 1973 that prohibits the importing of used clothes. With Dominicans in New York often sending clothes to family on the island, the ban has triggered concern in the local community, according to a report translated from El Diario/La Prensa.
