After Month-Long Hunger Strike, Tibetan Protesters Honored

The Tibetan protesters who finished a 30-day hunger strike outside the United Nations on March 22 were honored this weekend, after the United Nations promised to investigate the situation in Tibet.

As protesters in Tibet burn themselves to death in protest of China’s occupation, a group of protesters here have staged their own quiet protest. Three men are on the 27th day of a hunger strike outside the United Nations.
